BIOGRAPHY
Ever since he was a child, Mike has been around music. At the age of 12, he took part in musical evenings thanks to his father’s encouragement, himself a musician. At 15, he played bass guitar in a country band of which his father was also a member. Thanks to his natural talent and the experience gained on stage at such a young age, Mike had the opportunity to tour in Ontario from 1988 to 1990. In 1990, he went on a country music tour of Southern Nouveau-Brunswick. Since 1991, he’s lived in the Dalhousie Junction region, in Northern New Brunswick, and he regularly takes the stage in that area. Mike is a passionate musician who plays acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, slide guitar and the harmonica.

His new album, Styles, is made up of 11 original compositions, 5 in French and 6 in English. It is an album that allows us to witness the different musical styles and artists who influenced Mike. Many people have taken part in the creation of the album: André Proulx on the fiddle, Bernard LeBlanc on bass guitar, Dan Godin on guitar, David Boutin on piano, and many more. Mike Parker’s rich and warm voice is ready to be discovered.
